Mission

To be the most reliable data center for Croatia and surrounding regions based on latest technologies and services aligned with regulatory compliance.

Goal

  1. Build a modular upgradable data center in accordance with the Tier 4 (TIA-942)standard.
  2. Tier 4 standards provide the highest reliability and availability of entire systems, which applies to all segments of the organization and resources: infrastructure, procedural, technical and physical.
  3. Provide the most reliable and highest quality service and server co-location information services enterprise sector: banks, insurance companies, large companies and government bodies.
  4. Allow for increased reliability of information systems and lowering their costs.
  5. Set the highest standards of security protection in accordance with ISO 27001 and similar standards.
  6. Align services according to BASEL II, Solvency II
    i PCI DSSregulations and standards.

Welcome to the website of the project DATACROSS
Data Center Križ (Cross)

We are pleased to present the project "Data Center Cross, the first in a series of regional chain commercial data centers.

The project was conceived as a multifunctional center of high technology, designed to the highest relevant industry standards for security and reliability, and designed for a wide range of end users (from the place of safe keeping and data processing for large, institutional customers and public institutions to small businesses as "outsourcing" IT services).

The concept of "shared IT infrastructure" for example, industry data centers (Eng. "data center") is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, and has been recognized as the basis for the qualitative development of the total ICT industry.

Business Continuity and Disaster recovery

Data center Cross (PCK) is designed according to highest world standards. It is located 50 kilometers outside of Zagreb. Primarily designed  as a Disaster Recovery center office space is available for all users of the data center that will be needed within the center for continuing operations. Croatian regulatory agencies  (National Bank and HANFA), and several legal regulation imposing an obligation to establish a Business Continuity system. Data center will also provide collocation services, hosting and cloud computing services. The data center design and capabilities meet the obligations for Business Continuity Systems imposed by the Croatian regulatory agencies - i.e.: National Bank, HANFA, and several other legal regulators.

Data Center Cross is located in a commercial zone of the Križ (Cross) - This location is in accordance with criteria to establish a center for Business Continuity platform. It is located in within a seismic zone with smallest index in the region, excellent transportation links, the availability of several optical highways allowing for real time data synchronization from sites in the immediate region.

The facility consists of two buildings. The main intent is to have data center with facilities to accommodate the equipment and the human resources with high physical and technical protection. The second part is a commercial building in a fully equipped working places where users can continue operations in case of damage to their primary locations.

Primary DATACROSS services are:
Advance sale of  tenant (condominium) space of system rooms, space rental (for smaller capacities or those companies that do not want to invest substantial resources to build their data centers), and rental of physical or virtual servers.

Services and products are not solely intended for the domestic market, but are available to foreign markets as well.

What is Business Continuity?

KREŠ TROHA CEO PODATKOVNI CENTAR KRIŽ Continuity?

Business Continuityis a set of operations and activities carried out by an organization to ensure the availability of business critical functions that must be available to customers, suppliers, regulators and all other entities must have access to these functions. These activities include many daily tasks such as project management, system backup, change control and help desk applications. Business continuity is not something that is done at the time of the disaster; business continuity refers to those activities that are performed daily as a continuous maintenance service, consistency of business operations and the return of damaged / lost data.

What is Disaster recovery?

Do you have a plan ready? Carefree business?

Disaster recoveryare procedures, policies and procedures related to recovery and continued technological infrastructure is of key importance for the organization after a natural or human caused disasters. Disaster recovery is a subset of business continuity within the system. While business continuity planning includes ongoing management of all aspects of business in the midst of devastating events, recovery from disaster is focusing on IT systems and in general to the technological systems that support business functions.

Što je Tier 4?

TIA-942 Describes the requirements for the infrastructure of data centers.

The simplest is a Tier 1 data center, which is basically a server room that follows the basic guidelines for the installation of computer systems. The harshest and most demanding data center level is Tier 4, which is designed specifically to provide services to store data for computer systems of critical importance, with fully resolved the issue of redundancy for all subsystems, and divided by the defined security zones controlled by biometric access (fingerprint, retina scan, voice recognition, etc).

The standard also defines the preferred geographies which provide risk mitigation of natural disasters, strictly defined requirements for atmospheric conditioning in server rooms (temperature, static electricity, humidity, etc.) as well as providing an independent power supply through a generator.

Tier levels

Tier Level Requirements
1
  • Single non-redundant distribution path serving the IT equipment
  • Non-redundant capacity components
  • Basic site infrastructure guaranteeing 99.671% availability
2
  • Meets or exceeds all Tier 1 requirements
  • Redundant site infrastructure capacity components guaranteeing 99.741% availability
3
  • Meets or exceeds all Tier 1 and Tier 2 requirements
  • Multiple independent distribution paths serving the IT equipment
  • All IT equipment must be dual-powered and fully compatible with the topology of a site's architecture
  • Concurrently maintainable site infrastructure guaranteeing 99.982% availability
4
  • Meets or exceeds all Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 requirements
  • All cooling equipment is independently dual-powered, including chillers and heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • Fault-tolerant site infrastructure with electrical power storage and distribution facilities guaranteeing 99.995% availability
